Your puppy has just left mom and siblings for the first time. A little planning makes the move feel safe instead of scary.
Set up a cozy space
- Soft bedding in a quiet corner
- A blanket or toy that smells of mom and siblings
- A ticking clock or heartbeat toy to mimic littermates
- Soft music playing at bedtime
Plan for the night
Puppies can't hold it all night yet. Plan a late-night potty break, keep it calm and boring, and head straight back to bed.
